Ohana Tarifa Hostel

I stayed at Ohana for a couple of nights during my trip and it was probably the most social hostel I experienced. The rooms were spacious with plenty of beds, and the small kitchen was functional for preparing and storing food. The staff were young and friendly, creating a family atmosphere. The location was fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from the beach and close to the main street and a supermarket. Free parking was also available nearby.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

i had such a great time at a hostel in tarifa! the atmosphere was amazing and it was the most social hostel i stayed in during my trip. the beds were comfortable and had lots of privacy with a solid wall and a curtain. the kitchen had everything i needed and the staff were really helpful. the only thing that was missing was a TV.

The beds were comfortable and the room was warm, which was perfect for the winter season. the location of the hostel couldn't have been better, as it was in the heart of everything. We were just a short walk away from the beach, the main bus station, plenty of restaurants, and a supermarket.

The shared facilities, such as the shower and toilet, had motion sensor lights that would go off if you took too long. This was quite frustrating, especially when you needed more time to get ready or relax in the shower.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect, just a short walk to cafes, restaurants, and the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with private beds and curtains for added privacy. The showers and washrooms were spacious and spotless. We also appreciated the availability of bike rentals and the strong WiFi connection.

The upper bunk beds could be a bit safer with the addition of side rails.

Limited common areas make it difficult to meet new people. the automatic bathroom lights are annoying and inconvenient.

Bed was solid, good quality and have their own sockets and lamp and curtains. Big locker space. the location was excellent for a supermarket just round the corner, the beach and the bus station. Big and very clean shower / washroom. Bike hire available at the hostel - rather pricey at 20€/24hrs - lamps would be a good addition at little cost. Wifi good.

My recent stay at Ohana was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the old town. The hostel itself was spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable with curtains, plugs, and lights for each one. I loved having my own little cave to relax in. The pillow provided was the best I've ever had, so cozy!

There was nothing I didn't like.

The hostel had clean and well-equipped facilities, including good showers and a well-stocked kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for activities in the area. The location was convenient, with easy access to the beach, the old town, and the bus station.

The common area was a bit small and not the best place to relax for extended periods of time. Additionally, the atmosphere was not very lively during my stay, possibly due to it being the Christmas season.

We had a great time staying at Ohana. the family, run atmosphere made us feel welcome and taken care of. the staff were incredibly helpful and we could find everything we needed in the well, organized lobby area. the cleanliness of the hostel was impressive, like a doctor's office. the bunk beds with privacy curtains and individual lights and power sockets were comfortable and convenient. the guest kitchen and common room were well, equipped and it was easy to make friends and share travel stories. the location was excellent, close to the beach, old town, and bus station.

We would happily stay here again. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.
